Uttar Pradesh : Domestic gas cylinder expensive, women launched a signature campaign, indent will be sent to the President

The price of domestic LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs. At the same time, the government has instructed the edible oil companies to reduce the price by Rs 10 per liter. In Lucknow, a 14.2 kg domestic cylinder has increased by Rs 50 to Rs 1090.50 on Wednesday. This is the fourth hike in domestic gas prices this year amid rising fuel prices internationally. Similarly, the domestic cylinder of five kg has increased from Rs 382.50 to Rs 400.50. It has become costlier by Rs 18. Composite cylinder of 10 kg has increased from Rs 741.50 to Rs 777. Its price has increased by Rs 35.50. The same 19 kg commercial cylinder has become cheaper. It has come down from Rs 2130.50 to Rs 2122. The central government has instructed the edible oil companies to reduce the price by Rs 10 per liter in a week. It has also been directed that the retail price of one brand of edible oil should be uniform throughout the country.

Signature campaign launched by women

Akhil Bharatiya Janwadi Mahila Samiti (Adva) started a signature campaign from Wednesday to protest against the increase in the price of domestic LPG cylinders. On Talkatora Road, a people signed a demand letter against inflation under the banner ‘Rising inflation, decreasing earnings, today this is the truth of the country’. On this occasion pamphlets were distributed against inflation.

Demand letter will be sent to the President

Madhu Garg of Edwa said that increasing the price of domestic cylinder by Rs 50 is an anti-poor move. It affects the kitchen of women. Vandana Rai, Chandra, Meher Jahan, Kausar, Ruby Rizvi, Santoshi, Ramkali and others took part in this campaign. Advawa will send this demand letter to the President after getting 50 thousand signatures.
