PM Modi inaugurates airport and AIIMS in Deoghar

PM Modi in Deoghar: PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday, giving a big gift to Deoghar in Jharkhand, laid the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 16 thousand crore. He inaugurated the Deoghar Airport which was built at a cost of 410 crores. This is the second international airport of Jharkhand. Apart from this, the PM also inaugurated the AIIMS built in Deoghar, which has a facility of 250 beds. On this occasion, PM Narendra Modi said, “With the blessings of Baba Baidyanath, today projects worth more than 16 thousand crore rupees have been inaugurated and the foundation stone has been laid.” Jharkhand’s modern connectivity, energy, health, faith and tourism are going to get a lot of impetus. The same thinking, this feeling has been paramount in the efforts to connect Jharkhand by railways, airways, waterways, in every way.

He said that today the benefits of the efforts of the government are visible in the whole country. Under the UDAN scheme, in the last 5-6 years, about 70 new places have been connected through airports, heliports and water aerodromes. Today, ordinary citizens are getting the facility of air travel on more than 400 new routes. The Prime Minister on Tuesday inaugurated the Deoghar Airport, built on 657 acres of land at a cost of Rs 401 crore. He also flagged off the Deoghar-Kolkata flight of the airline ‘Indigo’ from the new airport. Airbus A320 aircraft can also take off from the 2500 meter long runway of the airport. PM Modi had laid the foundation stone of Deoghar airport on 25 May 2018. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said on the occasion that the airport would be connected to Ranchi, Patna and Delhi in the coming days.

Prime Minister Modi said, “Everybody’s heart becomes happy after coming to Baba Dham. Today we all have the privilege of accelerating the development of Jharkhand from Deoghar. With the blessings of Baba Baidyanath, projects worth more than Rs 16,000 crore were inaugurated today. And the foundation stone has been laid. These projects may be starting from Jharkhand, but they will directly benefit many areas of Bihar and West Bengal. That is, these projects will also accelerate the development of Eastern India. Along with connectivity- Along with this, the central government is also emphasizing on the creation of facilities at important places related to faith and spirituality of the country. Modern facilities have been expanded in Baba Baidyanath Dham under the Prasad scheme.

He said that the development of the nation through development from the states, the country has been working with this thinking for the last 8 years. We are following the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas. New avenues of development, employment-self-employment are being discovered by investing in infrastructure. We have laid emphasis on the aspiration of development, focused on the aspirational districts.
