Congress workers have accused party workers and others of registering fake cases under pressure from the regional MLA. It has been said that after the assembly elections, cases are being registered in the spirit of revenge. The activists sent a memorandum to the Governor in this regard through the Joint Magistrate, urging him to intervene.

It has been said in the memorandum that after the assembly elections, under the pressure of the local MLA, fake cases are being registered against Congress workers and some other people in the area. Due to this, an atmosphere of unrest is growing in the quiet assembly constituency of the mountain. Urged that cases should be registered against any person only after investigation. The Governor was requested to direct the administration in this regard. Later, Congress officials and workers reached Kotwali in this regard and also talked to Kotwal Nasir Hussain. Those who sent the memorandum included block president Gopal Singh Dev, former state spokesperson Atul Joshi, senior deputy chief Mohan Singh, PCC member Kailash Pandey, Nitin Prakash, Ankit Rawat etc.

The allegations are completely baseless and motivated by political malice, I am in Dehradun for approval of development plans of Ranikhet Vidhan Sabha, have no idea about the allegations.
