Uttarakhand / Uttarkashi : 20 meters of Mori-Sankri road collapsed due to rain

In Mori block on Monday night, rain broke as havoc. Here, due to excessive rain in the Govind Wildlife Vihar Park area, the Natwar Khad came to a boil. Due to this, 20 meters of the Mori-Sankri motorway connecting the Harkidoon valley was completely destroyed. Due to which about 22 villages of the park area were isolated. Due to the rains, debris entered many buildings as well as caused heavy damage to the orchards of apple orchards.
The rain in the district for the last one week has completely disturbed the life of the people. Due to the torrential rains on Monday night, there has been heavy damage in Mori block. Here, due to excessive rain in Govind Wildlife Vihar Park area, Natwar Khad came in spate. Due to which 20 meters of Mori-Sankri motorway near the Natwar barrier was completely destroyed. Several vehicles parked on the road were also buried under the debris due to heavy debris that came in the gadera. Due to this, the connectivity of 22 villages of the area including Sankri, Jakhol, Osla Gangad, Pavani, Saturi, Dhara, Sunkundi was completely cut off. At the same time, more than a dozen pedestrian routes have also been closed. Due to which the local villagers and tourists going to Harkidoon are facing a lot of trouble.
