In the month of July itself, Chamoli has got the amount of three big cyber frauds returned in the account of the victims. Taking the cases of cyber crime very seriously, Superintendent of Police Shweta Choubey has ordered Cyber Cell Chamoli to take prompt action in all such cases, to provide justice to the victims and get the amount cheated from them immediately.
The Superintendent of Police has said that beware of calls and messages of any unknown person. Do not download remote access apps to your computer or phone at the behest of anyone. Do not give access to your computer, device, phone to any unknown person through remote access app. Never search customer care number on google for any kind of online help. Never click on unknown links. If any person is a victim of fraud, then immediately inform the nearest police station and cyber helpline number 1930.
