Uttarakhand / Banbasa: Traders upset due to illegal operation of friendship buses

Paramjit Singh, president of Banbasa Vyapar Mandal, says that for a long time they have been demanding illegal operation of Daggamar buses. Told that preparations were made by the district administration to tighten the screws once again, but the situation became the same again. Said that two or three vehicles from the Indian Embassy have been given permits for the operation of Friendship buses. But under the guise of this, many Daggamar buses are being operated from Nepal. Due to which the passengers coming from there are not able to stop in Banbasa. Due to this Indian trade has come to a complete standstill. Earlier, the roadways had also suffered heavy losses due to non-availability of passengers. Trader Abhishek Goyal and others have also demanded a ban on illegally plying buses, demanding the administration’s intervention in the matter. ATO Sundar Verma said that vehicles are being checked till Gadda Chowki. Action is being taken against illegally plying vehicles without a permit.
