On Delhi-Dehradun highway, there will be a problem of jam at Mohand, NHAI will build a new bridge

On Delhi-Dehradun highway, there will be jam at Mohand, NHAI will build a new bridge, people will now get freedom from the jam in the hills of Mohand on Delhi-Dehradun highway. A new bridge will be built at the same level as the narrow iron bridge built on the Dehradun Road built by the British. For which permission has been taken by NHI from the Forest Department and soon the process of construction of the bridge will start.

On the Dehradun-Delhi highway, two and a half kilometers ahead of Mohand, there is an iron bridge of the British era. This is the only bridge that connects Uttarakhand and UP. Due to the old and narrow bridge, there is a problem of jam every day. Due to the bridge, there is a traffic jam of about two to two and a half kilometers. Now people are going to get rid of the jam soon and their journey will be smooth.

In fact, a new bridge will be built on the left side of the iron bridge by NHAI. The permission of the Forest Department was sought by NHAI for this, which has been passed. According to the officials of the department, the tender process has also been completed and soon the work of building the bridge will be started.

There is a problem due to lack of mobile range
After jamming, most of the problem is due to lack of mobile range. In fact, when vehicles come from one side on the bridge, the vehicles on the other side have to be stopped, only then the vehicles can leave. Many big vehicles get stuck due to jam.

Permission has been obtained from forest department
NHAI was facing problems in getting permission from the Forest Department for the construction of the bridge beyond Mohand. In fact, the area where the bridge is to be constructed comes under the Forest Department, so the construction of the bridge needed special permission from the Forest Department. DFO Shivalik Shweta Sen told that permission has been received from the Government of India and NOC has also been given to NHI.

The bridge will be constructed on the left side by NHAI on the side of iron bridge ahead of Mohand. Permission has been received from the Forest Department, construction work will be started soon.
