West Bengal : Partha Chatterjee reached AIIMS in ED custody, people started shouting ‘chor-chor’

When TMC leader Partha Chatterjee, arrested in the SSC scam case, was airlifted to AIIMS by air ambulance, people started shouting ‘chor-chor’ outside the hospital. Partha Chatterjee and his aide Arpita Mukherjee were arrested by the ED in connection with the teacher recruitment scam. The TMC leader had complained of ill health after being sent to ED custody for two days. After this he was admitted to SSKM Hospital on Saturday evening.

Separate flat for dogs
The ED had filed an application in the Calcutta High Court saying that it was against the law. After this, the High Court had ordered the ED to shift Parth to AIIMS. Since the arrest of Partha Chatterjee, the ED has exposed many cases of his disproportionate assets. He also had three flats in Diamond City. There was a fully furnished and air conditioned flat here for his pet dogs. It is said that he likes dogs very much.

After the arrest of Partha Chatterjee, cash worth Rs 21 crore was recovered from the house of his close aide Arpit Mukherjee. Apart from this, jewelery worth Rs 1 crore was found from his residence.

Let us inform that after the arrest of Parth, BJP workers in West Bengal have taken to the streets against the TMC government. Meanwhile, it has been claimed that after the arrest, Parth tried to contact Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at least four times but there was no response from there. Let us tell you that TMC has said that TMC will also take action against Parth if found guilty in the investigation.
