Uttarakhand / Almora : The stone fell from the hill on the Alto car in the Dhadkua-Ghapani road
A stone from the hill fell on the Alto car due to rain on the Dhadkua-Ghapani rural road in Bhikiyasain section of the block. Due to which a part of the car got damaged. During this, the other passengers including the driver narrowly escaped.
On Friday morning, a stone slipped from the hill on the Alto coming from Dadhuli to Dhadkua. The rear door and window of the car were damaged. But all the people in the car got out safely. Actually this road is in bad shape for a long time. Many times the villagers have appealed to the officials of PMGSY for improvement. Drivers are always compelled to drive the vehicle by risking their lives on the route. Former village head Bamioli Baladutt Pandey said that due to the cutting of excessive hill, this condition of the road has become bad. There is always soil erosion from the upper part of the road. He said that even after complaining several times, the department has not woken up.
