Uttarakhand : Two more arrested including constable, 11 people have been arrested so far

Two people, including a police constable, have been arrested in the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) paper leak case. 35 lakh rupees have also been recovered on the trace of one. The constable is a police officer’s gunner in Udham Singh Nagar. He had solved the paper to one of his family members.

STF has arrested 11 people within a week in the paper leak case. Adding links, the STF may make more arrests. STF SSP Ajay Singh said that in the past, the investigation had reached some people in Kumaon area based on the interrogation of the accused and the evidence. On Saturday, STF had called Deepak Sharma and Amrish Kumar for questioning.

He was brought to Dehradun in the night. Amrish is a police officer’s gunner. On the basis of interrogation and evidence, both were arrested on Sunday. 35.89 lakh rupees have been recovered on the spot of Deepak Sharma. Two blank checks were also kept at Sharma’s house. Deepak Sharma is originally from Jaspur Khurd, Kashipur. Whereas, the soldier is from Khanpur, Haridwar.

Passed to many families
The accused told during interrogation that they had sold many people after solving the paper. His family members were also included in this examination. He was also given a paper. Their families have also passed in this exam. The SSP said that the place where the question papers were solved, information has also been received. Will check there soon.

Now it’s the turn of the passed candidates
According to the STF, many more arrests can be made in this case. On Saturday, about a dozen people from Udham Singh Nagar and surrounding areas have been brought for questioning. Their role is also being investigated. Along with this, information has also been received about many candidates. Now it may be his turn too. Although some will also be made witnesses, but those who have sold the paper further, they will be made accused in this case.

Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
