Amazing in IND vs ZIM 3rd ODI! LBW appealed against Shubman Gill, but Ishan Kishan got out

The last match of the three-match series between India and Zimbabwe was held at Harare Sports Club. Batting first, India scored a brilliant score of 289 runs in this match. By the way, an interesting incident happened during the Indian innings when an LBW appeal was made against Shubman Gill, but Ishan Kishan had to be out.

Brad Evans was doing the 43rd over of the Indian innings and Shubman Gill was at the crease. He bowled a good length delivery which hit the batsman’s pads. In such a situation, the bowler did LBW but the umpire gave not out. Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan had left to take a run from the non-strike end but Gill’s attention was towards LBW. When Ishaan had reached half the crease, Gill asked him to return.

In this sequence, Munyonga’s direct hit had blown the bails at the non-strike end and as a result, Ishan Kishan was run out. On the other hand, Zimbabwe also took DRS against Shubman Gill as they wanted Gill out but TV replays also saved Shubman Gill from getting out. Due to this, Ishaan Kishan had to go back to the pavilion after being disappointed.

Century partnership between the two

Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan shared 140 runs for the third wicket, due to which India managed to reach the big score. Shubman Gill scored the first century of his career while batting brilliantly. Gill scored 130 runs in 97 balls which included 15 fours and a six. At the same time, Ishan Kishan scored a total of 50 runs in 61 balls, which included six fours.
