Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the meeting organized at AIIMS, Rishikesh on Friday, on this occasion, Chief Minister Dhami received various works being done by AIIMS Rishikesh, public service works, doctors present in AIIMS, Faculty, number of students and admitted patients, He was apprised about the works being done by various departments. AIIMS Executive Director Prof. Meenu Singh told that patients are being treated in AIIMS Rishikesh through modern technology, he said that through heli service in AIIMS Rishikesh, serious patients are brought for treatment from remote mountains from Uttarakhand state as well as from other states. A large number of patients also come to AIIMS Rishikesh for treatment. Pro. Meenu Singh said that in the coming time, AIIMS Rishikesh will also do the work of transporting essential medicines to remote mountainous areas through drones.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that AIIMS Rishikesh should coordinate with the Disaster Management Department, he said that AIIMS Rishikesh has been playing an important role during disasters, the state government and AIIMS Rishikesh can mutually help the disaster victims to get quick treatment. There needs to be coordination. He said that camps should be set up by doctors at different places in the state of Uttarakhand, so that patients can get treatment in the village itself. Chief Minister Dhami talked about providing all possible help by the state government for the expansion of AIIMS Rishikesh.

CM inaugurates PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) at AIIMS, Rishikesh

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that with the launch of PICU, young children would get good health facilities, he described AIIMS Rishikesh as the center of hope in the field of health, he said that people have expectations and faith towards AIIMS Rishikesh. AIIMS Rishikesh works as a boon for patients coming from Uttarakhand state as well as other states. He instills confidence in the public through his service. He described the doctors as the form of God.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the work of increasing health service is continuing in the entire country. The Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the approval of the satellite branch of AIIMS at Kichha in Udham Singh Nagar district. He said that in the Uttarakhand cabinet meeting, approval has been made to give free land to the Center for Kichha AIIMS. He said that the geographical location of Uttarakhand is different as compared to other states, many difficulties have to be faced in the expansion of health services in remote areas. Despite this, the state government is doing it at a fast pace. He urged AIIMS Rishikesh to help and serve the people by coordinating with other institutions and hospitals.
