CM Dhami inaugurated food processing and packaging plant in Haridwar, talked about implementing mushroom development scheme

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Haridwar on Saturday. Here he inaugurated the food processing and packaging plant established by MB Foods at Buggawala. On this occasion he also inspected the processing and packaging plant of fruits, vegetables and mushrooms etc. On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that human beings should move towards their destination by taking the mantra of choiceless resolution in their life, so that we can fulfill our dreams. Establishment of employment generating industries by construction of 14 acres poly house in Buggawala area will set a collective journey of development. This plant will provide employment to the people around and the area will get a new identity through the plant. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Nature Besto and MB Foods are providing employment to 150 to 200 families and helping in their maintenance. He told that the way mushrooms have been selected for Haridwar by the government, in the same way apricots in Almora, kiwi in Bageshwar, bay leaves and spices in Champawat, fish in Chamoli, bakery in Dehradun, peaches in Nainital, Malta in Pauri, Chaulai in Rudraprayag, Ginger in Tehri, Apple in Uttarkashi, Mango in Udham Singh Nagar and Turmeric in Pithoragarh have been selected for production.

Under this scheme, loans have been sanctioned to 49 beneficiaries for food processing units in the state, against which 28 units have been established in different districts of the state. Employment opportunities are being created in remote villages from them. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, MB Foods has established another step in the efforts made with the aim of doubling the income of the farmers and increasing steps for the development of the state. He said that many enterprises have been opened under the Prime Minister’s Micro Food Processing Enterprises Upgradation Scheme (PMEME), which is showing the path of a truly New India, prosperous, powerful, self-reliant, developed India. He said that there is immense potential for better processing of agricultural products in the state of Uttarakhand. The Horticulture Department of the state provided 40% grant to MB Foods under the Horticulture Mission of North-Ishta Himalias (HMNEH) scheme for establishment of mushroom unit and 50% subsidy in the polythene conversion scheme of old poly houses under State Sector Scheme by the government. Grant has also been given for poly house construction and gerbera flower production on 50% grant under Horticulture Mission of North-Ishta Himalias (HMNEH) scheme in the past.


Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that during the Corona period, no family should sleep hungry, for this, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, work was done to provide free ration to 80 crore people. He said that even in times of crisis like the Corona period, the development of the country did not stop and the development plans continued. After the Corona period, the work of mega vaccination was carried out in India, as well as the work of distributing the vaccine was done by India all over the world, introducing humanity.


India has always given the message of the spirit of Sarve Bhavantu Sukhin, Sarve Santu Niramaya, wishing everyone happiness and well-being. On the occasion of completion of 25 years of Uttarakhand state, he talked about making Uttarakhand the best state in every field, and making Uttarakhand self-reliant. He said that in the coming time, we will also implement the Chief Minister’s Mushroom Development Scheme. Due to which 25 thousand people will be benefitted.

Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister on Saturday made a courtesy call on Jagatguru Shankaracharya Rajarajeshwarashram at Shankaracharya Ashram in Kankhal and received his blessings.
