Uttarakhand / Haridwar : Delhi girl gang-raped, boss brought her on the pretext of company meeting
A girl from Delhi was brought to Haridwar by her boss on the pretext of a company meeting. He took the girl to a flat in Haridwar. The boss and his accomplice raped the girl by feeding her intoxicants in food and drink. Ranipur Kotwali police registered a case against both of them and arrested them.
Ramesh Tanwar, in-charge of Ranipur Kotwali, told that the girl, resident of Najafgarh, Delhi, works in a company. The girl complained that she had come to Haridwar with her boss on August 27. The boss had told about a company meeting in Haridwar.
Three friends had also accompanied him from Delhi. In the night everyone stayed in different rooms in a hotel in Ranipur area. The next day, on the evening of August 28, the boss took him to his flat in Ranipur area and the three men accompanying the boss went for a walk somewhere in Haridwar.
Intoxicants were given by mixing them in food
The girl says that at around 11:45 pm, the three companions of the boss also reached the flat. They had brought food. Everyone sat down and ate food. The girl alleges that in the meantime the boss started forcing her to have a drink. Despite his refusal, he was forced to drink.
As soon as she drank, she felt dizzy and fainted. After this, the company’s officer Anil Thakur resident of Mahalaxmi Enclave Delhi and his partner Rahul alias Asif resident of Salempur Ranipur Kotwali Haridwar raped her together. Unnatural relations were also made with him in a state of semi-consciousness.
The girl says that she regained consciousness on the morning of 29 August. He informed his mother and sister about the incident over phone. From Delhi, his brother and brother-in-law reached Haridwar and informed the police about the matter.
The girl alleges that not only her drink, but also intoxicants were mixed in her food. Ranipur Kotwali in-charge Ramesh Tanwar said that a case has been registered against both the company’s officers Anil Thakur and Rahul alias Asif under rape and other sections. He said that both the accused have been arrested from Salempur Highway.
