The thief takes away the undergarments kept for drying from the courtyard, balcony or terrace.

However, women do not reach the police station with complaints of theft. There are two reasons for this- one, they are ashamed to file a complaint of theft of undergarments. The second is that it is not an expensive thing to report. Last night a thief entered the house of businessman Bhagat Singh. The thief stole his wife’s undergarments and Rs 500.

Police claimed to catch the accused soon

When the merchant woke up in the morning, he suspected the theft of undergarments. After this, the victim’s family reached Gwalior police station and complained. The police have registered a case. The accused has been identified as Akash Verma, a local resident of the area. Police have said that they will nab the accused soon.
