Uttarakhand : BJP’s clan increased before the Panchayat elections; BSP district president Ravindra Paniala joins BJP along with hundreds of supporters

Before the Haridwar Panchayat elections, BJP is continuously getting the leaders of opposition parties in Haridwar to get their party membership. In this episode, many people took membership of BJP on Wednesday. Before the panchayat elections to be held in Haridwar, the BJP has made a big dent in the BSP. Haridwar BSP District President Ravindra Paniala has left BSP and joined BJP. Ravindra Paniala is also a strong Gurjar leader of the district. Hundreds of workers have joined BJP along with Ravindra Paniala. BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami and former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal have given membership of the party to the people. During this, Ravindra Paniala and others involved in the BJP said that he would work to strengthen the BJP with more energy.

At the same time, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt said that both the leaders have joined the BJP. In the coming time, some more leaders can also join BJP. However, the coming of these two leaders in the organization will give more strength to the party. Also said that it is expected from these two leaders that they will work with their full strength and strength to take the party forward.

44 district panchayat members will be elected

Elections are to be held for three-tier panchayat in Haridwar district, in which voting will be conducted for 44 district panchayat members, 318 village heads and 221 area panchayat members. Meanwhile, there was a lot of enthusiasm among the candidates reaching to take part in the nomination process. ADM Bir Singh Budhiyal told that the nomination process has started from today which will continue till September 8. The entire constituency is divided into 17 zones and 138 sectors. On the other hand, Haridwar CO (City) Manoj Kumar Thakur said that the security arrangements have been increased in view of the candidates reaching the district panchayat office with their supporters.

Results will be released on 28 September

The notification regarding the three-tier panchayat elections in Haridwar has been issued by the State Election Commission in early September. Except the urban area, the model code of conduct is applicable in the rest of the district. According to the notification of the Election Commission, the scrutiny of nomination papers will be done from September 9 to 11. Candidates can withdraw their names till September 12. Voting will be held in Haridwar on September 26 and results will be declared on September 28.
