Health officials in Uttarakhand will come door-to-door, health checkup, diseases like sugar, blood pressure, cancer will be investigated

For the health checkup of common people in Uttarakhand, a team of specialist doctors will do door-to-door screening. During this time, serious diseases including sugar, blood pressure, cancer will be checked. Apart from making people aware about cataract operation, eye donation campaign, people will also be told about Ayushman card and digital health ID.

940 health officers responsible for 10 villages

Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat launched the Jan Arogya Abhiyan on Wednesday at the Directorate General of Health. People will be screened under this campaign, which will run for a month. Community Health Officers (CHOs) posted at Health and Wellness Centers will go to 10 villages of their respective areas and conduct health check-ups of the people. Dr. Rawat said that the government has decided to conduct door-to-door health check-up of the people as well as treat them. 940 Community Health Officers posted at Health and Wellness Centers have been directed to go to 10 villages and conduct health tests.

Will inform the chiefs

The Health Minister said that the CHO will inform the village head and ASHA workers four days before coming to the village. He said that so far, digital health ID cards of 26 lakh people have been made in the state.

Hospitals to be built in Kedarnath and Badrinath

Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat informed that the government is going to strengthen health services on the famous trekking routes of the state along with Chardham Yatra route. Under this, 50 beds in Badrinath, 30 beds in Kedarnath and 10 beds in Harshil are being built. Hospitals in Kedarnath and Badrinath will be ready by next year’s Yatra.
