Uttar Pradesh : Return of retired IAS Avnish Awasthi, got important responsibility as advisor to CM Yogi
Recently retired IAS Awanish Kumar Awasthi has got an important responsibility in the Yogi government. Avnish Kumar Awasthi will now be seen in the role of advisor to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The order for this has been issued after completing all the formalities. In fact, after retiring recently, Avnish Kumar Awasthi had also participated in a meeting of the Department of Charitable Affairs in Mathura.
The re-appointment order of former ACS Home Avnish Awasthi as Advisor to the Chief Minister has been issued from the Appointment Department. Avnish Awasthi will act as an advisor to the Chief Minister to speed up the works of the State Government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has once again expressed confidence in his trusted IAS officer Avneesh Awasthi.
The officers close to CM Yogi are counted
Avnish Kumar Awasthi, a 1987 batch IAS officer, is counted among the officers close to CM Yogi. Even before the retirement of Avnish Kumar Awasthi, there were speculations that the Chief Minister might entrust him with some important responsibility after retirement. There were also discussions about his extension of service before retirement. But he could not get extension of service.
Eventually Avnish Kumar Awasthi, a 1987 batch IAS officer, retired on August 31. He had the responsibility of Additional Chief Secretary Home, Privacy, Passport, Charitable work as well as the Chief Executive Officer of UPEDA. Avnish Kumar Awasthi also took charge of the Energy Department for a few months in the last phase of his tenure. In 2017 when Yogi became CM. After that Avnish Awasthi had returned from central deputation. Construction work of Purvanchal Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway while being his CEO.
