Petrol and diesel become costlier by ten rupees this year

In the months of March and April this year, the prices of petrol and diesel have increased by about ten rupees each. Its direct impact has been in every sector including transportation, construction, food items. Due to this the graph of inflation has also increased rapidly. Petrol and diesel prices had increased marginally from April 7.

State governments collect taxes

Apart from the central government, state governments also levy taxes on petrol and diesel. In Uttarakhand, the state government fixes the rate of VAT on the price of oil at 16.97 percent or Rs 13.14 per liter whichever is higher and on diesel at 17.15 percent or 10.41 paise per liter whichever is higher.

Commercial cylinders became cheaper by Rs 91

Commercial (LPG Gas Cylinder Price) in Dehradun has become cheaper by Rs 91. This cylinder will now be available for Rs 1935. Consumers have been disappointed due to non-reduction of price of domestic cylinder (LPG Gas Cylinder Price).

Eight rupees cut in CNG

The price of CNG (CNG Gas Price) in Dehradun district has been reduced by Rs. After this, the price of CNG in Dehradun has reached Rs 91 per kg. In the past, the price of CNG in Dehradun was reaching Rs 99 per kg.
