Stock market continues to rise, Sensex rises 445 points, Nifty rises 131 points, more than 10 percent jump in the shares of Heart
Despite the weak start, the stock market closed strongly for the second consecutive day today. BSE’s 30-stock sensitive index Sensex closed at 59,744.88 on Tuesday, up 445.56 points. At the same time, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange rose 131 points to end today’s trading at the level of 17822. The market had a weak start in the morning. ONGC was the Nifty top gainer stock today, jumping 10.77 per cent to close at Rs 163.50. Talking about sectoral indices, PSU Bank, Nifty Metal, Nifty Pharma, Realty, Metal, Health Care closed with losses. The biggest gain was in the Nifty Oil and Gas Index. There was an increase of 2.77 percent today. Apart from this, Nifty Bank, Nifty Financial Services, Nifty Auto, Private Bank, IT Index, indices closed with gains today.
