Uttar Pradesh : After all, which doctor was treating the dead body for 17 months, the police worried, the family living with the dead body will have a mental test

The family members of Vimlesh, who were with the dead body for 17 months, will undergo a mental test. The police want answers from the family members to five complicated questions that can solve the mystery of keeping the dead body safe in the house for 17 months. The Commissioner of Police has written a letter to the CMO urging a team to conduct a mental examination of the entire family. The mental state investigation team will also include an ACP level officer from the police department.

A look at the event

Vimlesh Gautam, 35, living in Krishnapuri, Rawatpur, was posted in Hyderabad as an AO in the Income Tax Department. He had returned home due to illness and died on 22 April 2021 during treatment. Even after the death certificate was issued from the hospital, the family members kept the bodies at home considering them to be alive. The family members also got the dead body treated by a doctor and spent about 35 lakh rupees in it. Oxygen support was also given for six months. After receiving the letter from the Income Tax Department, the CMO sent a team to the house on Friday, when the body could be taken out of the house.

The biggest question became Don’t stink

Hearing about keeping the dead body in the house for 17 months and staying with mother, father, brother and wife in the family, the ground slipped under everyone’s feet. The dead body had become a complete skeleton, but the biggest question remains the lack of smell. Neighbors also believed Vimlesh to be alive and in a coma till now by obeying the family members.

The CMO has sent a report to the Income Tax Department that Vimlesh is not alive but the police are trying to unravel the mystery behind keeping the body. Trying to find answers to five questions that have confused the developments so far.

Those five questions for which the police are looking for answers

1- Treating the dead body as alive, is it mental insanity? If so, then the whole family needs treatment. If there is any other reason then that should also come to the fore.

2- The body did not smell. Which method was used, due to which the dead body was transformed into a mummy form. Were any chemicals or herbs used?

3- Who is the doctor who was treating the dead body?

4- What kind of correspondence was Vimlesh’s family doing with the Income Tax Department.

5 -Did the family withdraw Vimlesh’s salary in 17 months or not?

Family members urged to undergo mental examination

The Commissioner of Police had given the investigation to ADCP West Lakhan Singh Yadav in this case. However, the investigation has not started even during 48 hours. The Commissioner of Police said that they should not be interrogated without assessing the mental state of the family. That is why he has written a letter to the CMO, in which it has been suggested to conduct mental examination of the entire family. Once the mental test is done by the joint team, then the police will start the inquiry.
