A school student from Bihar had asked a simple question to the IAS officer, “Can the government also provide sanitary pads for 20 to 30 rupees?” Answering this question, IAS officer Harjot Kaur Bhamra gave a strange answer. He said, “Tomorrow you will say – the government can also give jeans. And then why not beautiful shoes?”
After this he said, “Finally you will expect the government to do family planning methods, condoms too.” When this schoolgirl said on this that the government is formed by the votes of the people, this IAS officer said: “This is foolishness. If that’s the culmination then don’t vote. Be Pakistan. Do you vote for money and services?
