India Legends defeated Australia to make it to the final, Naman Ojha and Irfan Pathan played a stormy innings

India Legends under the captaincy of Sachin Tendulkar defeated Shane Watson-led Australia Legends by 5 wickets to reach the final of the Road Safety World Series T20 2022 tournament.

The first semi-final match of this tournament between India and Australia was played in Raipur. In this match, India won the toss and elected to bowl and Australia scored 171 for 5 in 20 overs in the first innings. India scored 175 for 5 in 19.2 overs to win the match by 5 wickets and reached the final.

Fast innings of Naman Ojha and Irfan Pathan

India Legends had got a target of 172 runs to win and Sachin’s team achieved it. Pragyan Ojha and Irfan Pathan’s innings contributed a lot in this victory of the team. The legendary batsmen of the team such as Sachin Tendulkar, Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Singh could not succeed in scoring more runs. Naman Ojha scored 90 runs in 62 balls with the help of 5 sixes and 7 fours, while in the last Irfan Pathan scored an unbeaten 37 runs in 12 balls with the help of 4 sixes and 2 fours in 12 balls.

For India, captain Sachin Tendulkar scored 10 runs, Suresh Raina scored 11 runs, Yuvraj Singh scored 18 runs, Stuart Binny scored 2 runs while Yusuf Pathan scored one run. On the other hand, for Australia, captain Shane Watson scored 30 runs, Dhulan scored 35 runs, Ben Dunk scored 46 runs and Cameron White scored 30 runs. Captain Shane Watson took two wickets for Australia, while Yusuf Pathan and Abhimanyu Mithun took two wickets each while Rahul Sharma took one wicket for India.
