Haryana / Gururam : Girlfriend called to meet Nainital, couple killed together, skeleton of young man found after 5 and a half months
A shocking case has come to light in Gurugram, Haryana. Here a lover came from Nainital to meet his girlfriend. Girlfriend’s husband saw her in a compromising position with her wife. In anger, he strangled the young man to death with a rope and cloth. Then the couple together buried the dead body by digging a pit in the vacant space in their rented house in Bhondsi. Five and a half months after this incident, the police excavated on Friday and took out the skeleton of the youth. The Bhondsi police station has registered an FIR for murder in the case.
Roopchand Maurya, a resident of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, works in Nainital. Roopchand’s brother Banne also lived and worked with him in Nainital. On 14 April, Banne had left Nainital saying that he would go to Ghaziabad. The last time he spoke was on the same day. Then Banne had told on the phone that he had reached Ghaziabad. On 15 April, Roopchand called Banne but a lady picked up the phone and then the call was cut.
Police started investigation
Roopchand called Banne several times but his phone was found switched off. Roopchand had some doubts when he did not talk to his brother. He gave a complaint to the Kathgodam police station in Nainital. The police started the search for Bane by registering a case of kidnapping. His phone was put on surveillance, call details were checked and last location was also traced. Investigating in this way, the team of Nainital Police reached Gurugram on Thursday evening.
Both told the incident
Nainital police liaised with the police of Bhondsi police station. Police caught Harishpal, resident of UP Shahjahanpur and his wife Dhandevi. Both told the police that Dhanadevi and Banne had an illicit relationship. When Harishpal returned from work on the night of April 14, he was lying in a drunken state with his wife Dhandevi in his rented house in Bhondsi village. Finding both of them in a compromising position, he killed Banne by strangling him with a rope and cloth.
Dead body removed in front of both
The two took the police team along and went to the ground where the dead body was buried. After which the skeleton was excavated. The skeleton was taken to the postmortem house. Now in the case, the police of Bhondsi police station has also registered an FIR on Friday for hiding evidence by killing.
