Uttarakhand : Governor launches Khel Mahakumbh-2022, encourages players

Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh (Seni) inaugurated Khel Mahakumbh 2022 from Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya Raipur by handing over torches to the players. Sports Minister Rekha Arya and MLA Umesh Sharma Kau were also present in this Khel Mahakumbh organized by the Department of Youth Welfare and Provincial Guard. During this, the Governor encouraged the participating players. Certificates and medals were also given to the winning players in the competition. On this occasion, the Governor asked the players to have such a passion and passion of victory, which will take you to the heights of heights. Seeing high thinking, high dreams, work hard towards it with determination. He told the players to prepare for the National and Olympic Games from now on. This is a very beautiful occasion, when youth are being started from village to national and international level through sports.

The Governor said that Khel Mahakumbh will prove useful in creating a better sports environment in the state. Such sports events will give a golden opportunity to select talented players and pursue them. Every player participating in the game has to keep in mind that only physical strength and strength do not win in sports. Rather, it also requires constant practice, concentration and intellectual ability.

He said that the responsibility of organizing the 38th National Games has been given to Uttarakhand. To which we have to live up to. For this, youth should focus on their goals and their preparations from now on. Governor appealed to more and more youth to participate in Khel Mahakumbh competitions. He said that special opportunities are being given to differently-abled players along with competitions in various categories in the Khel Mahakumbh. With this, no talent will be deprived of opportunities, which is a commendable initiative. He wished all the players all the best and wished them a bright future.

Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya said that definitely skilled players from Uttarakhand will be selected from such events. These players will go ahead and make Uttarakhand’s name shine at the national and international level. The aim of this Khel Mahakumbh is to bring out the talent present in the remote areas of Uttarakhand.

Uttarakhand / Dehradun: A heart wrenching incident has come to light from Vikasnagar in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Where a young man killed his own mother and fled from the spot. Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
