After the defeat of Haridwar Panchayat elections, Harish Rawat alleges disturbances, said to fast in front of DM and SSP residence
Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat has made serious allegations against the administration and administration regarding the Panchayat elections held in Haridwar. He said that those who have been declared victorious have also been defeated. Cases are being registered for protesting. He has warned to sit on a fast in front of the residence of the District Magistrate, Senior Superintendent of Police if the situation in Haridwar does not improve in three-four days.
Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat has posted on his Facebook page regarding Haridwar Panchayat elections. He said that by killing democratic values in Haridwar, delimitation of Kshetra Panchayat, Gram Panchayat was done. Then the reservation was made. None of the standards were followed. The only criterion kept in mind was to win the election. When elections started, money and power were misused. People’s nominations were rejected.

People were intimidated and threatened. All the power was used to influence the election. When the election results started coming out, the power declared the winning candidates as losers. It was defeated by counting the votes 6-6 times. Harish Rawat said that those who were declared victorious were also defeated. Now when people are protesting, cases are being brought against them. Sections 307 and 308 are serious sections being imposed. Fear is being created among social workers. The former CM said that there is no rest in his fate. We have to come forward against this murder of democracy.
