Gujarat: Tension prevails in Vadodara’s Sanwali after communal clash, 40 people arrested

In Vadodara, Gujarat, two groups clashed after Garba, after which an atmosphere of tension has arisen. The incident is of Savali where people of two groups pelted stones at each other, on receiving information about which the police reached the spot and arrested 40 people. At the same time, heavy police force has been deployed in the area.
It is being told that during the Navratri festival, 150 to 200 people of a community who had gone to play Garba were attacked after which stone pelting took place between the two groups in which many vehicles were damaged. According to news agency ANI, so far 40 people have been arrested by the police in this entire case. At the same time, an FIR has also been registered in the matter.
Controversy over religious flag
According to Vadodara Rural Police Officer PR Patel, a festival of Muslims is about to come, about which some local people had tied religious flags on the pole which was right near the temple. People of Hindu society objected to this and said that their religious sentiments have been hurt.

Heavy police force deployed
According to the police, the quarrel gradually escalated in this case and reached further stone pelting. The police have arrested 40 people by registering an FIR against both the groups. At the same time, in view of the situation, police force has been deployed in the entire area.
