Now many establishments including restaurants will be open 24 hours in Delhi, LG VK Saxena gave permission

The night life of Delhi is famous all over the country. Here people will be seen roaming and eating and drinking at night. On weekends the atmosphere is different. Especially in Lutyens’ Delhi. There is activity throughout the night in CP and its surrounding areas. Now to make the night life of Delhi even better, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has taken a decision. After this decision, the night life of Delhi can now be better than before.

Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has given permission to open around 300 establishments round the clock. These include things related to online shopping, delivery shops, hotels, restaurants and transport services. On Sunday, information has been given by the LG office about this important decision. The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has approved about 314 applications. Some of these were pending since the year 2016. Along with this, LG has also ordered that the notification related to this important decision should be issued within 7 days.

Now many important establishments will be able to remain open 24X7

While allowing many establishments to remain open round the clock, LG VK Saxena has also taken very seriously the delay in allowing these establishments so far. The LG directed that such applications should be decided within the stipulated time frame so as to facilitate the investors and create a business-friendly environment in Delhi. After the decision of LG, from next week many important establishments of Delhi will be open 24X7.

Labor Department was expressing unprofessional attitude- LG

Approving the proposal, the LG also noted that the delay in granting permission to open these establishments showed that the Labor Department was showing unprofessional attitude. The department was following a ‘Pick and Choice Policy’ in processing the applications. Corrupt practices can also take place in such a system.
