Uttarakhand : Vinberg Allen School’s Annual Inter-House Athletics Meet 2022 Concludes, Condon House Wins Wineberg Allen Annual Sports Over All Trophy

The 131st Annual Inter-House Athletics Meet 2022 of Wineberg Allen School, Mussoorie concluded with pomp. In the Annual Athletic Meet, the Elizabeth Davenport Trophy for the best athlete in the girls category was awarded to Aakriti Subedi of Foy House, and Shivansh Agarwal of Condon House was awarded the Mike Harrison Trophy for the best athlete among the boys category. Condon House was declared the overall champion in the competition.

Ajay Mark, former student and senior player of the school was the chief guest in the annual sports competition. The competition began with impressive march pasts by the four different houses of the school to the marching tunes played by the Weinberg-Allen Marching Band. School captains Himanshi and Anurag Yadav took oath on behalf of the participating athletes. The chief guest took the salute of the march past. In the competition, Khenrab Jordan of class 8 created a new record in shot put event. Shivyana KC of Allen House in Junior Girls Division. and Veronica John of Powell House and Tashi Wangchuk of Foy House in Junior Boys Division, Hiranya Jain of Allen House and Aashman Goel of Condon House in Intermediate Division, Aakriti Subedi of Foy House in Senior Division and Shivansh Agarwal of Condon House won individual trophies. . The march past cake was jointly awarded to Condon and Foy House. Best Turn Out Cake was awarded to Allen House. Tug-o-War was the winner of Foy House for Boys and Condon House for Girls. Foy House was declared the overall relay winner.
