Seeing the matter increasing, the police also became active and a case was registered under the SC ST Act in Lavkushnagar police station area. According to the information received, when the video of this entire incident became viral on social media, the police asked the parents of the victim child who made the video. On the basis of information received from the relatives, the youth who made the video was called to the post, it is alleged that the youth was misbehaved in the outpost, he was beaten up saying that if you did not make the video, then so much raita would not have spread.

The young man told that he had reached near the well after hearing the cry of the child, he saw that a person was hanging the child in the well. He also requested the accused to take the child out, but in a fit of rage, the accused clearly said that until the mobile is not found, the child will not be taken out. On the other hand, when the parents of the child were looking for their son in the evening, the young man had informed them about it, after which his family members took the video to the police and rescued their child.
