Uttarakhand : Kedarnath Helicopter Incident: President Murmu, PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah expressed grief… CM ordered an inquiry

 

Helicopter crashed in Kedarnath Dham at around 12 noon today. C Ravi Shankar, CEO and Additional Secretary, Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority, has confirmed the death of seven people, including the pilot, in the accident. In a tweet issued by the President’s Office, Murmu said, “It is very sad to hear about the death of several pilgrims, including the pilot, in the helicopter crash near Kedarnath Dham. I express my deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. My thoughts are with the bereaved families at this sad time. The country’s Home Minister Amit Shah has also condoled the incident.

Accident inquiry order

An inquiry has been ordered into this helicopter accident in Kedarnath Dham. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the accident in Garuda Chatti is very unfortunate. Very sad news has been received about the casualties of some people in this helicopter crash. He has written in his tweet that SDRF and district administration team has reached the spot for relief and rescue work. A detailed inquiry has been ordered into this tragic incident.
