Uttarakhand : CM Dhami reached Badrinath before PM’s visit, took stock of PM’s dream project

Preparations have intensified for the proposed Badrikedar tour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 21, just before Diwali. At the same time, the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Badrinath Dham at 7:30 am to take stock of the arrangements. During this, the employees of the temple committee welcomed the CM at the helipad. After reaching Badrinath Dham, CM Dhami took information from the District Magistrate about the ongoing works under the masterplan. Along with this, information was also taken from Superintendent of Police Chamoli Shweta Choubey about the security arrangements regarding the preparations for the arrival of the Prime Minister. Let us tell you that before Diwali, in Mana, Prime Minister Modi will also wish the soldiers of the army a Happy Diwali.

What did CM Dhami say?

On this occasion, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the work on the Badrinath master plan is going on fast and has set a target to finish all the work by December 2023. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach here on October 21 and will lay the foundation stone of some roads and Hemkund ropeway. After which PM Modi will also visit Kedarnath Dham where he will lay the foundation stone of Kedarnath Cable Car. PM will also visit Mana village and meet local people and will also address a public meeting.

What is Badrinath Master Plan

Under the dream project of developing Badrinath Dham on the lines of PM Modi’s Kedarnath, a master plan of 424 crores has been prepared. Infrastructure for facilities is being developed in Badrinath in 3 phases. Under the proposed master plan, beautification of Sheshnetra and Badrish lake is being done in the first phase in Badrinath Dham. In the second phase, the Badrinath main temple and its surrounding area will be transformed. At the same time, in the third and final phase, the construction work of the Aastha Path connecting the Sheshnetra Lake with the temple will be done.
