Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised and patted Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in many public forums during his visit to Uttarakhand. In the public meeting of Prime Minister Modi in Mana village on Friday, Chief Minister Dhami said that the Prime Minister, like an ascetic, is successfully lighting the fire of building a new India. He assured that the people of Uttarakhand will always be ready for whatever sacrifice is required for the success of this Mahayagya. To make Uttarakhand an excellent state, the government is moving ahead on the mantra of resolution without options.
The Prime Minister has given priority to the development of Uttarakhand. An unprecedented saga of progress and upliftment is being written in Devbhoomi under his leadership. After the Kedarnath tragedy in the year 2013, as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he extended a helping hand to Uttarakhand. Ram Mandir, Baba Vishwanath Temple as well as Kedarpuri and Badrinath Dham are developing in a grand and divine form.
Due to the preparations made as per the guidelines of the Prime Minister, this year a record has been made of pilgrims in Chardham Yatra. Apart from this, four crore Shiva devotees took Ganga water from Haridwar during the Kanwar Yatra. Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh (SEN), Cabinet Ministers Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Saurabh Bahuguna, former Chief Minister and regional MP Tirath Singh Rawat, Uttarakhand BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt etc. were present on this occasion.
