Kharge said – Even after completing six years of ‘Demonetisation’, the Prime Minister did not accept the failure

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not yet accepted the failure of ‘demonetisation’ which has brought the economy down. It is noteworthy that a media report has claimed that the currency with the public has reached a new high of Rs 30.88 lakh crore till October 21. To this Kharge said the government had termed ‘demonetisation’ as a ‘masterstroke’. Publicly available cash 6 years after this masterstroke is 72 percent higher than in 2016.

Mallikarjun Kharge said that demonetisation was promised to rid the country of black money. But it destroyed businesses and ruined jobs. The Prime Minister has not yet acknowledged this major failure that has led to the collapse of the economy.
