Uttarakhand : Dhami government in trouble due to the statements of 2 former CMs, questions are being raised on commission and smart city project in the state, Congress is creating ruckus on the statements!
At present, everything is not going well in the BJP government in Uttarakhand. The reason for this is not one but many, in which the biggest reason is the quality of smart city works and the second big reason is the commission game going on in Uttarakhand. It is not the opposition but the two former CMs of the BJP who are talking about these two reasons. The statements of these former CMs have created panic in the Uttarakhand BJP government. Let me tell you, the stage built in the parade ground of Dehradun has become an arena of politics these days. That is because this forum was built under the Smart City project and former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat is questioning his government on the quality of works of this Smart City project. During the tenure of Trivendra Singh Rawat, from tender to work order was issued. Now Trivendra Singh Rawat has attacked the plan first.
Commissioning highest in Uttarakhand
Trivendra Singh Rawat has put his own government on the dock regarding the works of Smart City. Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the CEO of Smart City was changed repeatedly, which is not right. The works of Smart City should be investigated and it is wrong to break the platform. It is not that there are allegations and counter-allegations only regarding the smart city, but former Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat has even said that commission has increased the most in Uttarakhand after the formation of the state. Commission is being taken in every work, while BJP has ruled the maximum in Uttarakhand.
Smart city planning work started in 2017
Let me tell you, in the year 2017, the work of Smart City Scheme started. A target was set to complete all the works of Smart City by the year 2022, but till 2022 this work could not be completed. Now this target has been extended till the year 2023. Clutter can often be seen in the capital regarding the works of Smart City. BJP MLAs also expressed their displeasure about Smart City several times. Many times leaders and ministers visited, but the speed and quality of work could not improve.
BJP MLA said – only money is being wasted
Khajan Das, BJP MLA from Dehradun’s Rajpur assembly seat, says that he has been saying this from the beginning that there is no shortage in the smart city. There is only wastage of money. The whole city has been destroyed in the name of smart city. BJP MLA Umesh Sharma from Dehradun’s Raipur assembly seat has shown even a tough attitude. Umesh Sharma says that the instructions given by the High Court in 2002 that no construction will be done on the empty space of Parade Ground. It is also a direct violation of that. Umesh Sharma says that when Trivendra Rawat was the Chief Minister, he did not even hold any review meeting.
Congress taking a pinch
At the same time, the Congress is also taking a dig at the statements of former BJP Chief Minister and current MLAs regarding Smart City. Congress directly says that we were constantly saying that only money is being wasted in the smart city project. No work has been done in it. Now the statement of the former Chief Minister has proved that even the BJP MLAs themselves believe that no work has been done.
