Ajay Devgan-Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Tanhaji’ was released in 2020. ‘Tanaji’ was released on 3 thousand 880 screens in 2D and 3D formats in Hindi and Marathi versions. ‘Tanhaji’ also made a tremendous collection at the box office on the opening day. The film’s first day collection was Rs 15.10 crore. Whereas Ajay Devgan’s ‘Drishyam 2’ has been released on 3 thousand 302 screens across the country. The first day collection of the film has been 15.38 crores. That is, it is clear that Ajay Devgan has broken the record of first day collection of his own film ‘Tanhaji’ with ‘Drishyam 2’.
Drishyam 2 also broke the record of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’
‘Drishyam 2’ has also broken the opening day record of this year’s blockbuster ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ earned Rs 14.11 crores on the day of release while ‘Drishyam 2’ earned Rs 15.38 crores on the opening day. Along with this, Ajay Devgan starrer has also broken Tanaji’s record.

The suspense-thriller ‘Drishyam 2’ is the Hindi remake of Mohanlal’s blockbuster Malayalam film ‘Drishyam 2’. Mohanlal’s ‘Drishyam’ was remade in many languages like Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
