Bihar / Jehanabad: When the husband refused to press the feet, the wife was beaten to death, the police caught her and sent her to jail.

In Jehanabad, a husband mercilessly beat his wife to death. The accused had asked the wife to press her feet. When the wife refused to press her feet, the husband became enraged. He beat her to death with a wooden stick.

The case pertains to Chhakori Bigha village under Makhdumpur police station area. It is alleged that Munna Sharma of the village asked his wife to press her feet. The wife refused to press the feet citing ill health. After listening to the wife, the husband started hitting her on the head with a wooden stick. Seriously injured Rinki Devi died on the spot.

Accused being called crazy
Neighbors and local people informed about the incident at the maternal home of the deceased. On information, the family members came to the daughter’s house in a hurry. Then the police was informed. The police have arrested the accused husband. Police said that the family members say that Munna was eccentric from the beginning. His treatment is also going on.

The relatives of the deceased alleged
On the other hand, the relatives of the deceased Rinki Devi told that earlier also the accused used to beat up their daughter. Many times there was a mutual agreement regarding this but he was helpless due to his habit. Because of this, this incident has been done. Police arrested Munna Kumar and sent him to jail.
