A sensational incident has come to light from Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. A TTE allegedly pushed an Army man on the Dibrugarh-New Delhi Rajdhani Express at Bareilly Junction here. One leg of the jawan has been amputated in this incident. Police say that a case of attempt to murder has been registered against TTE. Search for him is going on.

Sonu is a soldier in the Rajput Regiment of the army

The incident is of Bareilly Junction railway station. Sonu (25), originally from Ballia district, is a soldier of the Rajput Regiment of the army. Presently he is posted in Jaipur. According to the information, he was going to Delhi from Dibrugarh-New Delhi capital. His other companions also boarded the train. Meanwhile, an argument broke out between Army jawan Sonu and TTE Upendra Boro allegedly over the ticket.

Jawan fell between train and platform after being pushed

Meanwhile the train left the station. It is alleged that only then TTE Boro pushed Sonu from the moving train. After being pushed, Sonu fell between the train and the platform. After this one of his legs was amputated. Seeing this, there was a stir on the spot. Sonu’s companions caught hold of the TTE and thrashed him fiercely, but seeing the opportunity, he ran away. On information, railway security personnel reached the spot. Sonu was immediately admitted to the army hospital. Where the doctors had to amputate one of his legs. The pushing TTE is absconding. As soon as the information about the incident was received, Army’s Lieutenant Colonel Vijay Tanwar and MCO Lieutenant Colonel Ajay also reached the spot.

Police registered case, Railways started investigation

Sudhir Singh, Senior Finance Manager, Moradabad Division of Northern Railway has told that we are looking at the CCTV footage. Releasing the statement, he said that there was an argument between TTE Upendra Boro and Sonu over the ticket. An angry Boro allegedly pushed the army man. Bareilly’s Government Railway Police Station Officer Ajit Pratap Singh has told that a case has been registered against TTE Boro under section 307 (attempt to murder). At present he is absconding. Efforts are on to arrest him.
