Disease X, the disease whose havoc WHO is also worried about

Corona cases have started increasing once again in China. Lockdown has been imposed in many big cities including Beijing. Life is very busy. This epidemic, which has created havoc in the rest of the world for two years, has not yet ended that the new report of the World Health Organization (WHO) started to scare. It is making a list of diseases that can attack humans in the future, in which Disease X is the most dangerous among many other well-known epidemics.

Before knowing about this dreaded disease, let us understand why WHO makes a list of virus-bacteria that can cause disease. This is so that the countries can together do research on them and try preventive measures. The way a big epidemic comes every hundred years and scatters the world, it is a great need in that. Remind that even a century ago there was a disease named Spanish flu, in which crores of lives were lost.

The second blow of COVID had just come, that’s why the talk of Disease X started. In the year 2021, scientists believed that this future disease could be more deadly than Ebola. Let us tell you that about 80 percent of the patients suffering from this viral disease, usually seen in West Africa, die.

Scientist Jean Jacque, who played an important part in the discovery of Ebola virus, also warned about Disease X. They believe that Disease X means that disease, about which no one knows anything. From whom will it happen, from which country will it start and how will it end. X means that which is not expected.

WHO had also talked about Disease X even before COVID. While preparing the blue print of the work on the coming epidemics in Geneva, such diseases were discussed, whose side and end are not even known to the scientists at the moment. Within about two years of this, COVID came. Even then, troubled scientists had believed that COVID is also a disease standing in the category of Disease X, which is difficult to compete with. By the way, soon after this, the countries prepared the vaccine and both the speed and intensity of the epidemic decreased.

A few months ago, a patient with a mysterious fever arrived in the Ingede region of Congo. He was also bleeding. At first, the local doctors thought the case to be Ebola, but after the test came negative, it was understood that it was some other disease. No more information could be found about the patient kept in isolation, not even whether he is alive or not.

It is also possible that Disease X may not start with humans, but with animals and birds. This pattern has been seen in many diseases. For example, despite the conspiracy, in the case of Kovid, most of the countries believe that it is a disease caused by bats. Similarly, SARS and MERS also came from animals. Even the incurable disease like AIDS also reached humans from infected chimpanzees. Yellow fever also reached us from animals in the year 1901. Since then, there are about 200 diseases like rabies, Lyme disease, which came from infected animals and birds to humans.

At present, about which no one knows anything, that disease i.e. Disease X is being considered at the top of the list of future pandemics. More than 300 scientists of the world will keep more than 25 viruses and bacteria in this category, whose information is negligible.

It is important to know here that diseases caused by viruses may be more dangerous, but bacteria are no less deadly. In the whole world, more people die due to bacteria than due to viral diseases.

One of the reasons for this is that after a bacterial attack on someone, the antibiotic which is given to cure it, gradually starts having less effect on the bacteria. A time comes that the specific dose of antibiotic does not have any effect on the bacteria. This is antimicrobial resistance.
