Bag crossed at the time of Jaimal’s ceremony

The ritual of Jaimala started at around quarter to 11 in the night. Pramod handed over the bag full of money and jewelery to his wife Om Kumari. Om Kumari was sitting with Samdhan. Meanwhile, a girl came and sat near him and in the blink of an eye took away the bag. After a while, when Om Kumari’s eyes fell on the bag, she raised an alarm.

Two suspicious girls seen in CCTV footage

There was chaos in the wedding ceremony due to the missing bag. When the CCTV footage of the hotel was searched, the handiwork of both the girls came to light. According to Pramod, the bag contained around Rs 5 lakh, gold bracelets, rings and other jewelery worth Rs 4 lakh.

Pramod asked the hotel staff about the girls, then came to know that both had already arrived before the baraat. After this, the photos were shown to the people of the bride and groom’s side. Everyone refused to recognize both. The hotel staff also said that they did not have any information about both. After this it became clear that the girls had come with full preparation.
