Horizontal reservation bill for state agitators

The Uttarakhand Fire and Emergency Services Fire Prevention and Fire Safety (Amendment) Bill 2022 was made the sixth Act. The Uttarakhand (Uttar Pradesh Zamindari Abolition and Land Management Act, 1950) (Amendment) Bill 2022 was made the seventh act.
The Uttarakhand Enterprises Single Window Facilitation and Licensing (Amendment) Bill 2022 became the eighth Act in the House. The Industrial Disputes (Uttarakhand Amendment) Bill 2020 was made the ninth Act. The Uttarakhand Civil Law (Amendment) Bill 2021 became the tenth act.
Hridayesh raised the matter of breach of privilege
During the Question Hour, Congress MLA from Haldwani Sumit Hridayesh raised the matter of breach of privilege in the House. He said that the MLA’s protocol is not followed. Congress MLA warns of self-immolation

Supplementary budget presented

What is Women’s Reservation Bill
On July 18, 2001, the then Nityanand Swami government had given 20 percent reservation facility to women in government jobs in Uttarakhand. After this, the ND Tiwari government of Congress reduced it to 30 percent. Since then this benefit was being given on the basis of only one Jio. However, to give this benefit, it was necessary to bring it in the form of a bill on the floor of the assembly, which has now been completed by the government.
What was the ruckus on women’s reservation
After the Uttarakhand Samlit State Civil and Senior Subordinate Services pre-examination results, women candidates including Pavitra Chauhan of Haryana and other states had filed a petition in the Nainital High Court. After hearing the petition, the High Court had put a stay on the reservation being given to the local women. The Dhami government reached the Supreme Court against the order of the High Court. The Supreme Court upheld the reservation given to the local women of Uttarakhand while staying the order of the High Court.
