Support for strict law on conversion on Twitter, Dharmrakshak Dhami trended at number one

On Thursday, the hashtag Dharmarakshak Dhami trended at number one on the internet media platform Twitter. On the other hand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that now no one will be able to convert people in Uttarakhand by force or by persuasion. Strict action will be taken against those who do this.

Religion freedom bill passed in assembly session

The state government passed the Freedom of Religion Bill in the assembly session on Wednesday. Now it will become a law after getting approval from the Raj Bhavan. This step of the state government is getting support from all sides. Attributing this to the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, the word Dharmarakshak Dhami trended on Twitter due to tweets by his supporters. It remained at number one for a long time. On the other hand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that conversion is a serious matter.

In this regard, information was being received from different places. It was not known that by giving what kind of inducements the conversion is taking place. They are being coaxed or there is some other reason. Now, through the Freedom of Religion Bill, the government has ensured that no one will be able to forcibly convert in the land of Uttarakhand.

If anyone’s name comes in this type of activity, he will be imprisoned for up to 10 years. The government had already made its stand clear regarding conversion that strict action would be taken against those who do so. In this sequence this law has been made. This is a very strict law. If anyone is found guilty in this, strictest action will be taken against him.
