Uttar Pradesh : Five people, including the inspector, accused of gang-raping a female advocate in the police station, there was panic among the officers

In Meerut, a woman gave a complaint letter to the SSP office, accusing five people, including the sub-inspector, two constables, of gang-raping them at Nauchandi police station. The woman alleged that on October 16, at the behest of Ravi Pandey, the CEO of the garbage collection company, she was falsely arrested by the police and sent to jail. During the arrest, she was gang-raped in the police station. On coming to know of this, there was panic among the police officers. SSP got the investigation done by sending SP City, CO Civil Line to the police station. In the preliminary investigation of the police, the allegations leveled by the woman were found to be baseless.
A woman living in a colony located in Bijli Bamba bypass of Partapur area is an advocate by profession. Two months ago, women had created a ruckus against the garbage picking company at Nauchandi Maidan. Company’s CEO Ravi Pandey had filed a case against the woman at Nauchandi police station. Critic KK Gautam produced the woman in the court on October 16, from where she was sent to jail. The woman came out on bail on 28 November.
The woman reached the SSP office on Thursday. Where the complaint letter was given to CO Cantt Rupali Roy. It is alleged that on November 15, the police picked him up and brought him to the police station. After being taken out of the lock-up, two policemen took him to a room in the back side of the police station premises, where Inspector KK Gautam and CEO of the company Ravi Pandey and another youth were already present.
Alleged that five people including the sub-inspector, both constables, CEO gang-raped her. After this he was sent to jail. After reading this complaint, CO Cantt informed the SSP about the matter. On coming to know about the incident of gang rape in the police station, the SSP immediately started the investigation. IG Meerut Range Praveen Kumar summoned the investigation report from SSP. SP City and CO Civil Line investigated on the instructions of SSP. In which it was found that the woman had made a false allegation. Three hours after the arrest, the woman was presented in the court and sent to jail. The woman went to jail only on the charge of demanding extortion. Presently she is not practicing in the court.
The CEO was threatened as soon as he was released from jail
Police investigation revealed that after being released from jail, the woman threatened the CEO of the company that she would file a serious case against him if he did not settle the case. On coming to know about this, the police also contacted the CEO. Police say that CCTV cameras installed in the police station are also being monitored. Every point is being scrutinized closely.
Accused of taking 62 thousand rupees as well
The woman has also accused the policemen of taking 62 thousand rupees. The woman said about giving 20 thousand in cash and 42 thousand online. Despite taking the money, the woman was sent to jail. The police has also collected the account information of the woman. Police is saying to investigate all aspects closely.
The woman’s allegations are baseless. The bar association has canceled the membership of the woman. The woman has falsely leveled abominable allegations against five people, including Vivek and two policemen. Investigation has been started against the woman. Will take action soon.
