Uttarakhand: Congress surrounded the District Supply Office in Dehradun, said cheap ration should be made available to the poor

Congress surrounded the District Supply Office in the capital Dehradun on Tuesday. The opposition has submitted a memorandum to the Food Minister through the District Supply Officer regarding expensive ration.

The Congressmen who were creating ruckus said that they demanded to provide cheap food grains as well as cheap ration for those living below the poverty line. Referring to the Congress rule, the Congressmen said that the Congress gave ample ration to the APL card holders.

Gave warning of violent agitation
Congress Metropolitan President Jasvidra Singh Gogi said that after the coming of the BJP government, the ration given to the poor has been reduced. Due to which poor people are finding it difficult to earn their living in this era of inflation. Gogi warned that if cognizance of the memorandum was not taken within 15 days, a fierce agitation would be carried out.
