Uttarakhand : CM Dhami inaugurated the Munsiyari Festival, told the meaning of ‘Sar Sansar Ek Munsyar’
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the ‘Munsiyari Mahotsav’ in the frontier district Pithoragarh on Monday. Along with this, an exhibition was also organized regarding local products, which was also observed by the Chief Minister.
Hard to find a place like Munsiyari
While addressing the people at the Munsiyari Festival, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said about Munsiyari that why it is called ‘Sar Sansar Ek Munsiyar’, it can be understood by coming here. I have been attracted by the natural beauty of this place since childhood. If you stay here for a few days, you don’t feel like leaving here. Because it is difficult to find a place like Munsiyari in the whole world. Addressing the youth, CM Dhami said that the young generation should follow the footsteps of the great personalities of this region, these people have achieved many fame, which makes us proud. Munsiyari is the flag bearer in the field of education in the whole of Uttarakhand.
Apart from this, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has said about the launch of ‘Munsiyari Mahotsav’ in Pithoragarh and the opening of a medical college soon in Pithoragarh and opening of Eklavya Vidyalaya in Munsiyari soon during the program of exhibition of local products. CM Dhami said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said in Mana that the border areas of India will not be called the last village, but the first village. Medical college will start soon in Pithoragarh. We are trying to make Uttarakhand the best state. We have made a roadmap that by 2025 we will be among the leading states of the country. Eklavya Vidyalaya will soon be opened in Munsiyari, as well as Nagar Panchayat will also be formed.
Listened to the problems of the local people
Along with this, CM Dhami interacted with various regional public representatives and workers in Munsiyari and discussed about the benefits being received by the public from various public welfare schemes run by the state government and the development works being done at the local level. CM Dhami further said that Munsiyari is a suitable place from the point of view of tourism, adventure sports and medicinal plants, for whose all-round development the state government is preparing a detailed action plan.
