Pushkar Singh Dhami government is preparing to establish 15 new cities in Uttarakhand. For this, preliminary selection of 12 places in Garhwal and 10 in Kumaon has been done at the level of Uttarakhand Housing and Urban Development Council (Uda). These new cities will be settled in a planned manner.

In these, there is a plan to establish cities from Garhwal to Doiwala, Chharba, Sahaspur, Arcadia, Roshanabad, Roorkee, in the eastern region of Bahadarabad, near Kotdwar, near Chinyalisaur airstrip, Gauchar on the Alaknanda coast, south of Simli, Bharadisain-Gairsain etc. Is.

Whereas, Kumaon to Gaulapar (as Greater Haldwani), south of Ramnagar, near Naini Saini, Almora, Almora ITBP Campus, Rudrapur, Sitarganj, Kashipur, Jaspur and Bajpur have been identified. While making a master plan of these places, basic facilities like electricity, water, roads would be provided here so that people would be motivated to settle here. This will reduce the pressure from existing cities.

Think tank will be formed on the lines of NITI Aayog According to the decision of the camp, a think tank will be formed in the state on the lines of NITI Aayog. The planning department will set it up in a month and its name will be State Institute for Empowering Transforming Uttarakhand i.e. Setu. Along with this, it was also decided to form a separate board for projects being operated on PPP mode, which will be named Uttarakhand Investment and Infrastructure Development Board.

25% roads will be built with green technology It has been decided to make 25% roads in the state with green technology by the year 2025. The department has been asked to take steps for this. Along with this, it has also been decided to uproot the road and recycle the same material and use it in road construction.

Cabinet approved the roadmap made in Mussoorie’s Chintan Shivir Agreement

The cabinet has agreed in principle with the roadmap decided at the Chintan Shivir held in Mussoorie. All the departments have been instructed to proceed on the basis of this action plan and issue orders in this regard after the approval of the CM. The government had organized a three-day brainstorming camp in Mussoorie to decide the roadmap for the state’s development.

During this, the roadmap was decided by all the departments on the basis of brainstorming. Under this a total of 25 points were fixed and placed before the cabinet. The cabinet gave in-principle approval to them. During this it was decided that Chintan would be taken in the camp. Various departments will take action to start working on the decisions and orders will be made in that context after the approval of the Chief Minister.

Now there will be no need to put any matter before the cabinet for the decisions taken in Chintan Shivir. Secretary Planning Dr.R. Meenakshi Sundaram said that all the departments have been asked to work in this direction. Arrangement of master trainer for teachers: Arrangement of master trainer has been made to improve the teachers in the state.

For this, the best performing teacher in the schools will be selected. They will be given training in renowned institutes of the country and abroad including IIMs. After that, training will be given to other teachers of the state by making them master trainers.
