What is the whole matter
A bail application was filed on behalf of Shraddha’s accused Aftab in Delhi’s Saket Court. During the hearing, the court said that for Aftab’s consent, he should be presented through video conferencing. Aftab was produced in the court, after which he told the court that he wanted to meet his lawyer and only then would take a decision on filing a bail application. After which Aftab has now told the court that he does not want to file a bail application at present. Aftab had informed the court through an email that he had signed the ‘vakalatnama’, but was not aware that his lawyer was going to file a bail application on his behalf.

During the hearing, Aftab’s lawyer said that after talking to Aftab for 50 minutes on Monday, it was decided that he would withdraw the bail. Along with this, the lawyer also apologized to the court, in which he said that there will be no miss communication from now on. Finally, the Saket court allowed Aftab to withdraw his bail plea.
