Uttarakhand: DGP gave New Year’s gift, now police personnel will be able to get leave on birthday and anniversary

Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar has gifted the police personnel. Now casual leave can be given by the police personnel on the birthday and anniversary of themselves or any member of their family. Uttarakhand Police Brainstorming-Solutions and Challenges Many important decisions were taken during Police Week.

Important decisions were taken

▪️Verification drives will be carried out continuously and will be reviewed from time to time.

▪️Instructions were given to the Information Department to act proactively on the information.

▪️In view of traffic arrangements, instructions were given to transfer traffic sub-inspectors and CPU team from Munikireti and Roorkee areas to Rishikesh and Mussoorie for traffic improvement.

▪️Instructed to add training of Uttarakhand Police App, Gaura Shakti Yojana and other technical services to the basic training of police.

▪️It was decided to conduct all the training related to cyber, drone and computer in the modern lab of Dietech, Dehradun.

▪️Instructed all police personnel to conduct annual health checkup and conduct maximum awareness sessions on stress management.

▪️Instructions were also given to review and implement the special operations being carried out by the police in other states.

▪️Paramedical training will also be given to SDRF, Fire Service, Traffic Police, so that the lives of the injured can be saved during the golden hour.

▪️The participation of women in SDRF will also be increased.

▪️Railway stations should be covered with CCTV in coordination with Railway Department in GRP and instructed to take strict action on incidents related to stone pelting on trains.

▪️Efforts will be made for free travel/monthly pass for policemen in roadways bus.

▪️Arrangement of p-fabricated huts should be started in place of tents for PAC at Police Line/Vidhan Sabha/Raj Bhavan and other places, so that the standard of living of the employees will increase.

▪️Dial 112 has received 90 lakh calls since 2019 till date. Action should also be taken against those giving false information on 112.

▪️Before going to Cheetah call, call the caller’s number once. Directed to take quick action on the information received on MDT (Mobile Data Terminal) through Dial 112 and to improve the response time.

▪️E-mail and Polnet should be used more and more instead of fax.

▪️Drones should be used in traffic control, Chardham Yatra, disaster management.

▪️Declaring people who have given up drugs as drug warriors, get online counseling done for them. Profiling of drug victims and drug peddlers should be done.

▪️CUG mobile numbers will be provided to women helpdesk and Cheetah mobile. In future, efforts will be made to provide CUG mobile numbers to police posts also.

▪️Old inspectors, sub-inspectors and constables will be made tech savvy. For this, they will be given training in police lines and battalions, so that they too can use technology very well.

▪️On the lines of smart barracks, now the toilets of police stations and outposts will also be made smart.

▪️Where the PACs are permanently residing, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the PAC, 31st Corps Commander, to improve their standard of living.

▪️Cultural programs will be organized under the aegis of Uttarakhand Police Wives Welfare Association (UPWA) to release tension among police personnel.

▪️It was decided to give 01-week self-defense training to students in schools and colleges at Police Line Dehradun.

▪️Efforts will be made to develop the women’s police stations of Almora and Srinagar as cyber police stations.

▪️Efforts will be made to appoint cyber experts in each district.

▪️The system of applying for leave on WhatsApp, started under the welfare of police personnel, will be implemented compulsorily.

▪️If police personnel request for casual leave on their own or any member of their family’s birthday and anniversary, they will be given leave immediately.

▪️Women Helpdesk and Cheetah Mobile will be provided with CUG mobile numbers. In future, efforts will be made to provide CUG mobile numbers to police posts also.

Uttarakhand / Dehradun: A heart wrenching incident has come to light from Vikasnagar in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Where a young man killed his own mother and fled from the spot. Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
