Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat sat on a dharna on Monday demanding justice in the Vanantara receptionist case. This dharna of theirs is for one day. During this, Harish Rawat said that the daughter should get justice in the Vanantara episode. It is said that the statement of the minister of the state government regarding VIPs in Vanantara Resort has come forward, it can affect the case in future.

Harish Rawat said that the receptionist of Vanantara Resort said in a WhatsApp chat that she was being pressurized to provide special service to VIPs in the resort. The presence of VIPs is a serious matter in this regard. At the same time, Harish Rawat also attacked the government in the matter of back door appointments in the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. He said that if these appointments are illegal, then the one who gets the appointment is not guilty, but the one who gives and gets the appointment is guilty.

In the Ankita Bhandari murder case, the High Court had justified the SIT investigation by rejecting the demand of CBI investigation of Ankita’s father, on which political parties have now started protesting. Earlier, Congress party’s state president Karan Mahara termed the court’s decision as unfortunate. The BJP’s state media in-charge Manveer Chauhan says that politics is not appropriate on everything. Ankita Bhandari is the daughter of the whole country, she is not the daughter of Congress but the daughter of every citizen of Uttarakhand. If Harish Rawat wants CBI investigation in Ankita Bhandari case, he can go to Supreme Court.
