Uttarakhand / Haldwani : Survey of encroachment land with heavy police force, ADM said this

Survey of demarcation of encroachment on railway land was done today in Banbhulpura area of Haldwani. Along with this, pillar arrest was also done by the police, administration and railways, after the instructions of the High Court, the railways carried out the first action to remove the encroachment with heavy force. On the other hand, thousands of people living in the encroachment area of the railway staged a peaceful protest outside the Banbhulpura police station demanding their eviction.

On the other hand, the administration conducted a survey of the pillar bandi done on 78 acres of railway land with heavy force, heavy police force has been deployed everywhere in Banbhulpura area, apart from this, the security system has been increased in the railway station as well. ADM Ashok Joshi says that following the instructions of the High Court, the process of removing the encroachment from the railway land has been started, in which along with the demarcation, the process of giving munadi and notice will be started in the next one or two days and remove the encroachment after a week. The campaign will be run.

In order to follow the same law and order, SP Crime Dr. Jagdish Chandra said that heavy police force has been deployed everywhere, apart from this, complete monitoring will be done with drones and video cameras during the removal of encroachments, police and administration are trying to Encroachment should be removed peacefully.

People are also being appealed to maintain peace. Significantly, the Nainital High Court has given instructions to vacate the encroached railway land within one week by giving notice, about 4365 houses on 78 acres of land are to be demolished and this encroachment is to be removed, in which thousands of people will be affected. Along with this, many leaders including local MLA Sumit Hridayesh also reached to support the dharna of the encroachment victims.
